Background and Purpose of the Project 240™
The "Project 240™" is a bright red 1998 Nissan 240SX SE S14a competition and demonstration vehicle designed and built by Scott Buwalda of Hybrid Audio Technologies, and select enthusiast member volunteers of Buwalda Hybrids International, and also factory team sponsored by several excellent sponsors, such as Turbonetics, Brian Crower, and Mackin Industries, to name a few.
This vehicle was built to be used implicitly by Scott Buwalda, Team Hybrids, Hybrid Audio Technologies, and our sponsors for use in the high-end competition, show, and demonstration motoring communities. The goal was to create an excellent "Triple Threat" car of sound, show, and go.
Phase III of the project has begun, which includes the development of a 1,000 horsepower Nissan KA24DE(T) powerplant. More details are coming soon!
