Yes, the L3SE sees the outer door cavity, between the metal and the plastic door panel. It doesn't need much.

Since Scott wont post this, here are the update pics taken for FB.

L6 SE's replaced with L8 SE's vented to the outside and mounted on a steel ring.

Subwoofer system now with four Imagine 6.5's in a millionth order box firing into the sky pass.

Thanks Jorge. Oddly enough I went to start a new thread called "G35 Updates" and found this one. Thanks for doing this my friend.

Awesome, Scott! Love the new sub configuration. Can you comment on listening impressions compared to the previous 18" set-up?

    Cheers

    It's louder.

Midbass is amazing out of the new front stage compliment.

Will start heavy tuning later this week and report back. Initial observations are very positive!

The 6.5" subs come out to 132 square inches. The 2 18" subs come out to 508 square inches. I'm betting its part box, and part drivers that making it louder. I really need to get my dads I6SW up and running.

    Actually the sd for 4 x I6SW is 76.08in^2 (similar to a 13" subwoofer) and for 2 x IB318 is 375.1in^2 (similar to a 24" subwoofer)

So as stated earlier... Yes, it's IMPRESSIVE...

Oh, it's definetely enclosure and loading. I would guess Mms has abig part too...the 18's being very slow and heavy, while the quad I6SW's being light and transiently "fast."
