The last pic is a pic with the 3's in, i've since changed to the 4's but i haven't gotten a good "under the grill" pic with them in yet.

Chris....that install is sick man....one question...what kind of paint did you use on your bezel and where can you find it? It turned out great, I bet it sounds as good as it looks.

Dave, i went to a local auto paint shop and had them match the color to a part of the bezel that i brought in. They actually put it in a puff can and i sprayed it that way and just colorsanded to match the factory look/feel.

A little fabrication update: I modified the trunk lid panel and added some more inserts to allow me some more mounting points for the panel and to add a bit more design to it. I decided to wrap it in vinyl and flock the inserts to match the amp cover pieces.

The gap on the top of the middle insert is because the inserts aren't fully pushed into place. I was rushing to get done for the Car Audio Nationals show and didn't get a completed picture with the inserts re-flocked and mounted properly.

Brooksie was too busy handling all the people around his rig to be worried about mine. When people walked by, they were looking at my car b/c of the wheels, but Brooksie was pullin em in with the pimp ass audio system. I guess you could say we did the ole "hook em and reel em in" demo. 8)

Believe it or not, very nice. I am using a very narrow bandwidth on them, and they have great low end extension. I sacraficed a little upper end extension but for a SQ install like mine they work excellent. With a street tune i'm sure i'm in the 140's so they are more than serving the purpose.

Some updates: I managed to tweak a few things in time for INAC/SBN that just passed a few weeks ago. The kicks were reworked a bit to better "flow" into the carpet and suede flocked inserts were fabricated to better control dispersion of the drivers (and make it look cool). Seat brackets were also fabricated to extend the seating position back another 6" to help with PLD's. These changes along with a little more tweaking should help bring the car to the next level sound-wise.

The underdash was sealed with acoustic foam to better control what the kicks are doing.
